BREMERTON —

A severe weather shelter will be open in Bremerton for people who need a place to sit out the heavy rain and wind storm expected tonight, according to the Kitsap County Department of Emergency Management.

The shelter will be at the Coffee Oasis, 822 Burwell St. It will be open from 6 p.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday, and from 6 p.m. Tuesday until 7 a.m. Wednesday. Once the shelter has closed for the night at 9 p.m., no one who leaves will be allowed back in.
