About this facility
- Mission
- from website: Acton/Boxborough Newcomers & Neighbors is a nonprofit, social organization that welcomes both new and established people from our community. Founded in 1965 as Acton/Boxborough Newcomers, the group has helped thousands of Newcomers to feel at home and make new friends. In 2004 it became Acton/Boxborough Newcomers & Neighbors, recognizing that many established people in our communities were also looking for new interests – we welcome you all! Acton/Boxborough Newcomers & Neighbors is a great way to meet new neighbors, build lasting friendships and create special memories. There are a variety of activities throughout the year including book groups, dinner outings, wine tasting, lunch bunch, dances and other fun events (see Interest Groups and Calendar and Events for details). Members may get involved in Acton/Boxborough Newcomers & Neighbors as much or as little as they desire or as their time allows. There is definitely something for everyone. Please browse our web site to find out more and learn what fun it is to be an AB Newcomer & Neighbor!
