Client Assistance For Jesusita Fire Victims
An American Red Cross Service Center will be open in the Fellowship Hall of the First Congregational Church at 2101 State St (enter on Padre Street - map) to serve those most affected by the Jesusita Fire. It will be open during the following hours:
Thursday May 14 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday May 15 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday May 16 12 noon - 5 p.m.
Sunday May 17 12 noon - 5 p.m.
Monday May 18 12 noon - 7 p.m.
Effective next Tuesday, the Service Center will move back to the Red Cross Chapter Office at 2707 State Street (map).
The Service Center will have trained Red Cross volunteers providing casework for the residents whose houses were destroyed or significantly damaged by the Jesusita Fire. Please bring proof of residency (drivers license or utility bill showing an address in the affected area). In addition, mental health & health services volunteers will be offering help to those who need it. For further information please call (805) 687-1331.
