Since Dec. 2005, Camp Coastal Outpost has operated a housing facility for volunteer groups involved in rebuilding the Gulf Coast. Maximum capacity: 450
Groups of any size, 2 to 200, and any age, 14+, are welcome. Younger children can participate at the discretion of their parents.
Reservations are required. A fee of $15 per person per day is requested.
A $25 deposit per person will confirm your reservation. The deposit is applied to balance owed.
Payment of balance owed is due upon arrival. Cash or checks only.
The camp provides bunkhouse accommodations and offers three meals a day.
Bunk houses sleep 12 and are air conditioned. There is a private bathroom in each bunkhouse - with shower, sink and toilet.
Volunteers must bring bedding and towels.
Groups must have a designated team leader. Work projects are available.
Local retail is available in walking distance.
