Notes
This is the same site utilized as the Incident Command Center for the Sayre and Marek Wildfires and is now being used for the Station Wildfire 8/09.
Local County Fire Departments and firefighters from all over the state of California, Los Angeles County Sherriff's, L.A. County Animal Services, Dept. of Forestry, Utility companies, Conservation Corp., OES, Disaster Communications and many more entities are present and efficiently established.
It's an impressive and orderly sight to see. State of the art technology and equipment is in place to support fire fighting efforts, several hand washing stations and showers are set up. A large kitchen is available with covered eating area, plenty of outdoor bathrooms and small tents are in place.
The mood is calm and deliberate.
