April 29 - President Obama has made federal disaster assistance available to individuals in Mississippi in Clarke, Greene, Hinds, Jasper, Kemper, Lafayette, and Monroe counties. Apply at www.disasterassistance.gov, http://m.fema.gov/, or by calling (800) 621-3362 / TTY (800) 462-7585.

Damage surveys are continuing in other affected areas, and more counties may be designated after the assessments are fully completed

The counties including in Barbour's declaration are Adams, Alcorn, Attala, Choctaw, Clarke, Clay, Coahoma, Covington, Grenada, Hinds, Holmes, Issaquena, Kemper, Lafayette, Lauderdale, Leake, Leflore, Marshall, Monroe, Montgomery, Neshoba, Newton, Panola, Pike, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Rankin, Scott, Smith, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tippah, Tishomingo, Tunica, Union, Yalobusha, Webster and Yazoo have reported damage from the storms.
