• Out of Powder Springs/Austell base--Approximately 35 homes where cleanup work/wet material removal progressed to the point where drying out equipment moved in. Able to share several meals with others. Teams are keeping exact numbers, but for example in addition to our volunteers, it appears that about 150 local folks had the lunch meal with us yesterday.
• We are opening a second base of operation in Dekalb/Stone Mountain area where our initial assessment showed concentration of damaged homes of our members and others near them that we could assist. Clean up and drying out has begun on a handful of these.
