Dear Members & Guests:
"The Latter Shall Be Greater Than the Former."
Dear Members & Friends of New Birth Community:
As many of you are aware, the Austell & Powder Springs, Georgia area experienced severe flooding Sunday (9/20) & Monday (9/21) resulting from the harsh rains and overflow of the Sweetwater Creek. Unfortunately our church property including the sanctuary and entire first floor of the building experienced flooding. Therefore, at this time, please do not attempt to drive to the church (street closed) and more importantly, do not attempt to enter the building as a safety precaution.
Like many other Austell homeowners and local businesses, we've already begun the restoration process. We've contacted our insurance company, local officials and utility companies.
For those who would like to submit their tithes and/or offerings prior to service on Sunday, please feel free to do so via credit/debit card on-line at by clicking the donation link on the right of our front page: www.newbirthcommunity.com. Church contributions can also be given to your Shepherd Leader or brought to our alternative church site on Sunday. I look forward to seeing each member on Sunday. Thank you and continue to stay in prayer as our contractors restore our church facility in the coming weeks. On this Sunday, September 27th, 2009, we will hold our 10am worship service at InfoMart at 1582 Terrell Mill Road, SE, Marietta, Georgia.
Meanwhile, should you have further questions and/or concerns, please contact your "Shepherd Leader".
