Notes

9/26/09 GAVOAD ConCall Notes:

•AidMatrix activated – Jami sent out detailed info to member agencies to get involved (also BENS) but only one org has replied back. If you want your unmet needs to go to AidMatrix or BENS send her an email (see internal contact)

•One donor has offered 3,000 gallons/day via AidMatrix. One 800 Gallon tanker truck is currently available. Will be stationed at 411 Maxham Rd (Plaza Mall) in Austell on Monday, all day. The donor is going to try and get 1-2 more tankers, if demand or tanker water is high. Try and encourage people to save bottled water for drinking; and try and use tanker water for cleaning/cooking. Chattooga is still under water restriction.
