About this facility

Mission: We work with social workers and other referring agencies to ensure that your gently used items go to those who need them the most. Project Home Again is an organization run entirely by volunteers. With their help and yours we can make sure that our neighbors have the necessary household items they need in order to live with dignity.

Notes

Drop Offs:
We accept drop-offs without an appointment during regular warehouse hours. The warehouse is located at Heritage Place, Building #2, 439 S. Union Street in Lawrence. Upon entering the parking lot, stay to the left of the building and proceed to a loading dock with 4 bays and a big dumpster. Pull up at the stairs marked "Shipping and Receiving" and call 978-270-9878 to have a volunteer assist you in unloading. Please note, this phone number is for the warehouse only.

Pick Ups:
For larger donations, please call our office at 978-470-1356, or email to schedule a pick-up. Our pick-up times vary as our trucks and drivers are generously donated by local businesses. We appreciate your patience in scheduling a pick up time that works for you and for us. If we are unable to get a truck in a timely fashion, we will work directly with the social worker associated with the client-in-need to facilitate pick up.

What We Accept:
We accept all gently used items that might be used to furnish an apartment. We do not accept clothing of any kind. All donations must be in good condition. We do not accept torn or stained upholstered furniture.

Hours of Operation

The warehouse is open to social workers and their clients and for donations to be dropped off on:
Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am - 12 noon
Thursdays from 1pm - 3pm

Upcoming Weekend Hours:
Sunday, October 18 from 10am -12 noon
Sunday, November 1 from 10am -12 noon

We are closed during school holidays, including the summer vacation, and on snow days when Andover schools are closed.
