K.I.D.S. pioneered a unique charity model more than twenty years ago that today aligns hundreds of companies with more than one thousand leading local agencies in the United States and Canada. 85% of our donations are distributed to agencies in the U.S. and the remaining 15% to countries abroad. This alliance brings new clothes, shoes, books, and juvenile products… and hope… to children and their families at risk. - Service

The latest K.I.D.S. donations of apparel, lunch coolers, and kids books just arrived in Port-au-Prince prior to the quake and are being distributed today. More items like these are now desperately needed, as are items for shelter (particularly blankets) and apparel (work gloves, boots, childrenswear). Filling a Need of Disastrous Proportions
In times of natural disasters, the needs of hundreds of thousands of children and families, and the impact on social service and relief agencies, are painfully amplified in just days, hours or even minutes. Founded in 1985 to bring aid to victims of drought and famine in Ethiopia, K.I.D.S. continues to respond to natural disasters around the world be it famine, flood, earthquake, storm or fire.

Our local agency partner network, nearly a thousand agencies strong, represents a broad and diverse range of organizations, all of which are dedicated to helping the lives of children in poverty and families at risk.
Some are single-location agencies while others are local organizations that serve dozens of local charities. Our agency partners range from Women In need in New York and an Operation Homefront agency in Virginia to Shelter Partnership in California.
These and many other agencies work with K.I.D.S. toward the single mission of creating better lives for children in poverty.
