- Mission
- Our Mission/Results Community Warehouse recycles donated furniture and household items. We collect these items and give them back out to local families in need. Community Warehouse works in partnership with over 80 local non-profit and social services agencies – see our Partner Agency list. These agencies screen and refer individuals and families in need of basic household items to the Community Warehouse. Clients include women escaping domestic violence, individuals and families who have been homeless, elderly persons on limited incomes, people with mental and physical disabilities, refugee families from all over the world, youth and adults recovering from substance abuse, and the working poor. Your donations of furniture and household items go directly to your neighbors in need and provides them with the basics to establish a functioning home.

As we resume donation drop-off, our staff is excited to share with you several new details about the process of collecting your donations then getting them to neighbors in need. You have come to the right place because we will frequently update our website with our clients’ most-needed items!
To ensure that your donations are accepted, please refer to the list below. Then, drop off your donations to our Warehouses (located in Portland and Tualatin) on weekdays from 10 am- 4 pm. Our staff will verify the quality and condition of these donations before collection. At this time, furnishings that are too large or heavy may be declined.
Clients and their families receiving your donations will see these items for the first time upon delivery to their doorstep. Community Warehouse staff ensures that the quality and condition of donations will immediately give clients the feeling of delight, excitement, and dignity.
**Considering this, acceptance of donations will be at the discretion of our staff.**
