Notes
1/13/10
A powerful earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.0, hit the country of Haiti on Tuesday. It has been reported that a hospital has collapsed and other buildings have been damaged.
FAVACA is reaching out to its board, volunteers and supporters in this crisis to raise funds and awareness of this disaster and tragedy. We will be providing logistical support for volunteers and helping to coordinate with Haitian diaspora groups in Florida. All donations made on the FAVACA site during this period will be used to support Haiti. For more information please call 850.410.3100 or email favaca @favaca.org.
