CitiHope International (DIST: MEDICAL SUPPLIES/FOOD/WATER) - 2010 Haiti Earthquake

Delivered $500,000 worth of medicines, medical equip./supplies, nutrition, water to Jimani (Le Bon Samaritan Hospital). Next phase of relief is food. They need an additional $36,000 to deliver the 21,000 meals (soup) they've collected to Jimani residents.

CitiHope International

Utilizing volunteers, resources already on hand, and funding commitments, CitiHope International will procure, deliver and distribute $1 million in pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and food relief to Haitians within the next 10 days.

For immediate relief, we have coordinated in-land shipping and air transport of medical supplies to a hospital in Jimani, DR where hundreds to thousands of Haitians are seeking relief, and trained medical professionals are facing a severe shortage of supplies. Our local DR staff will be on-hand to ensure correct receipt and distribution of supplies. We are also working to facilitate on-going monitoring of medical usage, experience medical assessment, and infrastructure development support in Haiti the weeks ahead.

NEED: Our major need now is secured funding commitments totaling $60,000.
