Trinite Hospital in Port-Au-Prince

More than 700 field staff are working to provide emergency medical care to earthquake survivors in and around Port-au-Prince. Médecins Sans Frontières teams are currently working in Choscal Hospital, Martissant Health Centre, Trinite Hospital, Carrefour hospital, Jacmel Hospital, and are establishing a 100-bed inflatable hospital in the Delmas area. They are running exploratory assessment missions to other locations outside the capital as well.

MSF medical activites also continue at La Trinité trauma hospital and the rehabilitation center in the Pacot area of Port-au-Prince. Two operating theatres are up and running, one of them in a shipping container, and staff have performed about 25 mostly complicated surgeries per day since January 13. On January 17 a post-operative ward and triage area were set up in the street in front of the building. MSF teams are also conducting assessments in affected areas outside of the capital, in Léogâne, Grand Goave, Petit Goave, Saint Marc, and Jacmel.© Julie Remy

Hopital Sainte Croix of Leogane, Haiti , a 120 bed general hospital, is the base of operations for the regional health care program serving the Commune of Leogane in the Department de l'Quest, Republique d'Haiti. The hospital is owned by the Episcopal Church of Haiti (EEH, Eglise Episcopale d'Haiti.), and is operated in partnership with the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Hôpital de l'Université d'État in Port-Au-Prince

MEDICAL CORP INTERNATIONAL IS ON SITE: https://ccc.haghy.com/shelters/4951

Our emergency medical team is working at the De'l Universite d'etat d'Haiti, a 700-bed hospital that is barely functioning. We established an emergency surgery facility in conjunction with other NGOs where 30 to 50 surgeries are performed each day.
