1/4/11: CHHN Update
The team handed over a significant amount of cholera supplies today to St Francois de Sales clinic in Vaudreuil, thanks to Coram. They are receiving around 15 patients a day and treating them with ors +/- IV fluid to stabilise before referring onto the gymnasium, the closest CTC. Although they are well staffed, they have so far received no support in obtaining cholera supplies to support their service.

They were very grateful for the supplies we gave.

12/27/10 CHHN Update
Seen reduction in pts. 21-30 pts/day in Nov. 15-20 so far in Dec. Send most to gym CTC and do not keep pts overnight. Clinic is 24 hr anyway so pts. are given ORS and sent to gym.
Have been buying supplies, but are picking up some supplies from CHHN Wed.
Staff: 15 nurses and 2 docs

12/19/10: CHHN Update
CHHN has reserved some ORS and health promotional info, but has not been able to contact.

11/26/10 Email from Fr. Geordani:

Thanks for your attention. Yes we could do rehydration ORS if we have any available. But we don't have enough space. We suppose to avoid contamination because we have School, Church in the same place.

11/25/10 Email from Fr. Geordani:
Since the outbreak of Cholera we have seen more than 300 cases. But we can only give the first aid. They have being transfered to the main Central in Cap-Hatien.
