Mission
Kay Fanm is currently six programs. a) Rehabilitation of women and girls abused This program aims to provide support to women, girls and adolescent victims of sexual assault, child abuse and domestic violence. It includes a support level of medical care and psychological, judicial and legal advice, mediation couple, group therapy; b) Promoting women's rights Kay Fanm uses the most varied methods to promote the rights of women in society (such as radio, carnival float, greeting card on Valentine's Day, flags May 18, rara competitions, panel discussion, luncheon, awareness sessions in schools and churches etc..) c) Initiatives income generation Kay Fanm tries to combat by all means the feminization of poverty by supporting economic initiatives of women from popular sectors (community gardens, micro-credits, production shops, catering and accommodation, etc..). d) Women and Democracy This program is mainly based on the strengthening of citizen participation. Women participate in meetings, exchanges and seminars are designed to enable them to better master the challenges of the electoral process and encourages them to develop their own strategies for consultation, to deal with public policy. e) Training It includes 10 modules and operationalized over a period of two years. f) REVIVE REVIVE The center provides victims with comprehensive support to enable them to cope and overcome their trauma. * Temporary Home * Medical Care * Legal Services * Psychological and spiritual * Area of trade, etc.. The opening of this center is a new pledge our commitment to the women and girls in Haiti.
