ReliefNow Network

The ReliefNOW Network is currently exploring the option of dissolution. We are in the process of shutting down our existing operations, and we are no longer accepting donations. Once the best course of action has been determined, this site will be updated with a summary of the actions taken, and links to partners who have either taken over our existing programs, or assumed the assets of the organization.

Purpose

The ReliefNOW Network is a network of volunteers and resources that responds to catastrophic disasters in the Southern and Gulf Coast states. While focused primarily on cleanup and debris removal, ReliefNOW is dedicated to responding to the immediate needs of disaster victims. "The ReliefNOW Network" is not simply a name; its a concept. It is our formal and informal "networks" of people, organizations, and resources that we have developed in order to operated effectively and efficiently. We hold a high standard for our organization and expect compassion and dedication from our volunteers. We operate with the understanding that people do not choose to be disaster victims. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.

ReliefNOW is run by volunteers and functions to equip volunteers as well as assist in the rebuilding efforts that follow disasters. The ReliefNOW Network is only possible because of the support of individuals and organizations.
