Bismarck, N.D. –The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has now obligated the first $843,000 in funds for preparations made to combat flooding in North Dakota. The funds will be awarded for levee construction, sandbagging and other flood fighting measures undertaken in the city of Fargo.
