Volunteers Needed For Oil Cleanup Will Require Training
Friday April 30th, 2010

Volunteers are needed to help with oil cleanup should it come ashore in Jackson County, but those volunteers need to be trained. We encourage people to sign up for training to help cleanup should our shores be impacted. You can do that Friday by going to the Ocean Springs web site, www.oceansprings-ms.gov, where there will be a link where you can sign up for training.

If you want to train to help wildlife that may be effected by the spill, you can go to www.Pascagoulariver.audubon.org to sign up.

For the latest information on the containment of the oil spill, visit the unified command web site, www.deepwaterhorizonresponse.com
