Where can I get more information?
* St Bernard Parish HelpLine: 504.277.4911. Use 1.877.902.4912 for calls from outside the 504 area code. Hours are Monday to Friday 8 AM to 10 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 1 PM.
* BP Helpline: 1-800-573-8249
* Claims: BP has initiated a program to assist those affected parties who can claim lost wages or other income due to the spill. It is important that affected Louisiana families and individuals get a claim number by calling the hotline: 1-800-440-0858. * If you have pursued the BP claims process and are not satisfied with BP's resolution, contact the Coast Guard, 800.280.7118.
* Information about what types of damages are eligible for compensation under the Oil Pollution Act, and guidance on how to seek that compensation: http://www.uscg.mil/npfc

* DHH - Louisiana Spirit Coastal Recovery Counseling Program provides crisis counseling and referrals. Call 1-866-310-7977
* Catholic Charities Care Line (866) 891-2210. Case Management and Mental Health/Crisis Counseling staff are also available at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2805 Bayou Road, 9 am – 2 pm
* Vessel of Opportunity: BP has established a new Vessel of Opportunity line for those wishing to offer their vessels for service. The prior e-mail contacts and hotline were overwhelmed by those wanting to help. The new number is 281-366-5511. The new e-mail address is HorizonSupport@OEGLLC.com. Vessel owners will need to provide details about their vessel, including the name, owner, horsepower, length, draft, etc.
