FROM THE SITE 6/10:
Due to the incredible generosity of countless communities and individuals across the nation that have been moved to support the response to the Deepwater Horizon spill, we are currently inundated with supply donations that surpass our specific needs in some cases. We appreciate all efforts, but ask donors to please limit collections to the goods that are listed below. It is our goal to see that all the needs of our partners in the response efforts are met adequately while ensuring that donor’s efforts are not wasted.
We are also accepting monetary donations via the Barataria-Terrebonne Estuary Foundation. Donations will be used to purchase vital supplies without the added expense of postal mail on the part of the donor. Visit www.SupportBTNEP.org to make monetary donations.
We ask those collecting items to use the list below as a guide to the currently needed supplies.
We will update the list here as additional supply needs are identified. Please check back often.
