With Grand-Goâve Online we provide basic education for 200 children from 6 to 17 years and to adults. We also want this site to become a pilot project which will promote awareness and training on sustainable development. It will be dedicated to a system of education and training which places at the center of it's mission civic equality, equality between women and men, respect for human rights, including the handicapped, and respect for human dignity. All personnel will be formed to this approch and according to the standards of the Ministry of National education and vocational training of Haiti. To meet our goals, we will design a fully autonomous building in accordance to the concept of construction and the techniques used for housing in earth (Earthship) and the perma-cultures principles. We will use a technique for building that is easy to reproduce with local and/or recycled materials. The creation of an eco-garden qill provide vegetables and fruit for the school and serve as demonstration of sustainable farming methods.
