How You Can Help Pakistani Flood Victims

With just two weeks until Ramadan, tragedy has struck in Pakistan.

Some of the worst flooding in that country’s history has taken the lives of over 1,500 people, and has displaced hundreds of thousands more.

The floods have washed away homes, crops, livestock, and critical infrastructure.

The World Food Programme estimates that nearly 2 million Pakistanis are in immediate need of food assistance.

In response to this disaster, Life for Relief and Development has established a fund to provide flood survivors with urgently needed items, such as food, bottled water, medicine, tents, baby formula and diapers.

Please help us help our brothers and sisters in Pakistan in their hour of need.

A statement released by the Red Cross in Pakistan reads in part, "In the worst-affected areas, entire villages were washed away…by walls of flood water."

It is estimated that the floods have adversely affected the lives of some 3.2 million Pakistanis.

Please act now and follow the links on the site to donate to Life’s emergency fund for Pakistani flood victims.

You may also phone in your donation by calling 1-800-827-3543.

Over the past decade, Life for Relief and Development has responded to a number of humanitarian emergencies in various parts of Pakistan.
