Activities

Medecins du Monde has deployed two mobile medical teams covering 50,000 people, Nowshera, Charsadda and continued his previous actions in Swabi and Kohat. (Programme humanitarian assistance to people displaced by military operations.)

These mobile teams are designed to enhance three primary health centers where the number of consultations has exploded.

In terms of health, it appears that the main needs are to:

-strengthening of health facilities in difficulties following the floods
-the treatment of acute diarrhea cases in which the number increases significantly
-anticipation and prevention of epidemics such as cholera and malaria medium term
