UPDATE 09/07/10 at 1:55pm: Foothills United Way has created the Fourmile Canyon Fire Relief Fund. The fund will be administered by Foothills United Way working in collaboration with service providers in the community to aid in long term recovery. The full extent of the purpose of the fund will be determined as the scope of the damage from the fire is known. It is expected to be used for such things as temporary/transitional housing and medical/health needs among others.
To donate:
· Go to www.unitedwayfoothills.org and click on “Give Now”. On the donation form note the Focus Area as “Fourmile Canyon Fire.”
· Or call the Foothills United Way office, 303-444-4013 with a credit card number
· Or mail a donation to Foothills United Way, 1285 Cimarron Drive, Suite 101, Lafayette, CO 80026.

Fourmile Canyon Fire Response - Getting and Giving Help
GETTING HELP:
If you, your family or friends live in the area affected by the Fourmile Canyon Fire (Boulder County, CO), here is a list of emergency and non-emergency resources. This list will be updated as additional information becomes available.
Colorado 2-1-1: Dial 2-1-1 from any phone for 24-hour access to information about temporary and emergency shelter, pet needs and non-emergency services related to the fire.
