Mission
from website: Our vision is a hunger-free Larimer County. We work to provide food to all in need through community partnerships and hunger-relief programs. Staffed by 27 employees and supported by 1,800 volunteers, the Food Bank distributed more than 7.5 million pounds of food in 2009. Established in 1984, the Food Bank is the only Feeding America clearinghouse for donated food in Larimer County. Feeding America is the nation’s largest food bank and food rescue network.

* soups
* canned fruits / vegetables
* canned meats (chicken, beef, ham)
* canned tuna fish
* chili
* cereal
* hot cereals (grits, oatmeal)
* beans
* 100% juice
* rice / pasta
* shelf stable milk

Food Distribution

Through collaborative effort, food manufacturers, distributors, retailers, local farmers, and individuals throughout Larimer County donate food to Food Bank for Larimer County, which is then distributed through our Fort Collins Food Share, Loveland Food Share, seven Kids Cafe sites, and through our network of approximately 70 faith-based and non-profit member agencies serving those in need.
