Haiti Youth Volunteers: A Call to Action
Witnessing the devastation of January 12 through the eyes of our students, we felt the urgent need to form a powerful body of youth leaders dedicated full-time to providing for thousands of Haitians what IAHV has been giving to them since 2007: a way of processing their own trauma, caring for their communities, and living in harmony with the environment. The Nouvelle Youth Corps program draws not just from a Haitian family but a global family, rooted in belongingness and expressed through service. - Service
