History of Manna Global Ministries
In March of 2009, Manna Global Ministries, also known as MGM, began as an expansion of the current work in the Dominican Republic through MannaDR, Manna Haiti (previously Manna International Relief and Development) and Beacon Light Ministries. The projects in Haiti and the Dominican Republic have been long-standing outreach and we are glad to continue the development of these early works. This will also expand into new works in the Dominican Republic, Haiti and other countries. These combined endeavors will give vast new opportunities through missions, discipleship, worldwide relief efforts and simple everyday Christian fellowship. Our goal is to mirror the example of Christ’s love for His people on earth. In Colossians 4: 2-3, Paul makes it clear the vision that we are instilling in a relatively new organization, Manna Global Ministries: "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the world, to declare the mysteries of Christ". - Service

Haiti Earthquake
Manna Global Ministries is directing relief efforts in Haiti today. Since 1988, the Lord has strategically planted Manna in Haiti for ‘such a time as this’. As media attention is lessening; the needs in Haiti are increasing. The response from the Body of Christ has been overwhelming. Our prayer is that we will be the hands and feet of Jesus during this time.

Emergency Relief and Development
Manna Global Ministries will continue to work hard as a result of the deadly earthquake of January 12, 2010. We know we will be involved in the ongoing relief and rebuilding work in Haiti. The lasting effects of the quake will be wide-spread after the initial emergency relief as communities deal with changes in population, limited resources, increase of orphans, etc.

All MGM board members have a voice in the direction of GHI and we work collaboratively with existing MGM partners, as well as other medical organizations, to address the medical needs of people living in Haiti, Dominican Republic and countries in East Africa.
