PER PUBLIC PAHO LIST DATED 11/19/10 this site is a designated "UTC"
CTU/UTC DEFINITION: Unit for the treat of Cholera (UTC): A health center,
mobile clinic or hospital that has built a space to treat cholera
patients, or in a tent or in a room of the structure. UTC is
capable of making oral and intravenous rehydration. Capacity
2-20 beds. Opening: at least 12 hours. Staff physician,
infimières, sanitation officer, health worker.
BED CAPACITY: 15 extendable to 30 (per PAHO list dated 12/6/10)

STAFF: 2 docs, 4 first shift nurses and 3 second shift nurese
From Dec. 6-11 there were 53 new cases with 3 deaths
From Nov. 29- Dec. 5 there were 77 new cases with 2 deaths
Although they get regular deliveries of supplies, the supply of IV ringers "gets low before another delivery occurs and we ration at the patient's expense"
