We believe that the path to sustainability is through transformation, of both disempowered people and discarded materials, turning apathy and pollution into valuable resources.

It is from the soil that our organization has borrowed both our name and our philosophy. The goal of our international coalition building programs is to expose our visitors to the beauty and the complexities of Haiti and to encourage the exchange of knowledge between those educated by the land and those educated in universities, deepening cultural understanding and reducing prejudice.
