2012 HURRICANE SANDY -
from website:
Projected Start Date: November, 2012
http://www.abwe.org/give/project-details/hurricane-sandy-relief-effort-DR1211/
Superstorm Sandy has impacted thousands along the East Coast, leaving many in towns where the storm hit hardest without power and access to necessities or shelter.
Yet, amidst this terrible catastrophe, Christians have the incredible opportunity to share the love of Christ with our hurting neighbors. As needs arise, ABWE plans to work with partner churches and organizations in the affected areas, helping support their community relief efforts. Additionally, we hope to provide aid to churches who have been impacted by this storm.
In times of terrible heartache ABWE uses compassion relief funds as a door to share the Good News of salvation to those who are suffering. Please help us minister to victims of Hurricane Sandy. Just a small token of your compassion can be an incredible blessing to a frightened and suffering family, or a devastated church.
