About this facility

Mission
The Foundation for International Development/Relief (FIDR) is a private organization established in 1990, following donation of the main basic fund by Mr. Tojuro Iijima (founder of Yamazaki Baking Co., Ltd.). In 1992, FIDR was certified as a Qualified Public-Benefit Promoting Corporation by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since then, with the help of our donors and many supporters, we have continually striven to promote social contribution to international development. FIDR's legal status has changed to "Public Interest Incorporated Foundation" on November 1, 2010. FIDR is currently working in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Japan.
