Red Cross opens shelter at Albertville Recreation Center From staff reports Sand Mountain Reporter | 0 comments

The American Red Cross has opened a shelter at Albertville Recreation Center for Marshall County residents affected by Wednesday's storms.

The recreation center is located at 915 West McKinney Ave.

Residents are asked to bring a change of clothes, blankets, pillows, towels and medication for each family member, if possible.

4/30: TF called. Changed from overnight to day shelter only. Have only limited power from generator. Handing out snacks. Don't need any supplies. Just giving out info. Can get supplies through RC. Sending people to Gunersford Rec Center if they need overnight shelter or meals/food.
