Per the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, for survivors that are displaced with pets, there are no people/pet friendly shelters available. The options are to place your animals in a kennel, with a vet, or stay at a pet friendly motel or hotel.
All lost pets found can be taken to both this location, and to the Tuscaloosa Animal Control site.

Can you offer specialized assistance?
If you are an individual, an organization, or a company and you would like to provide specialized assistance for animal tornado victims, please call 205-942-1211, ext. 200 and leave a voicemail if we do not immediately answer.
