====== Coming Together After The Storm
How you can help: TENNESSEE
http://www.wrcbtv.com/Global/story.asp?S=14530043&updated
CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The compassion of the Tennessee Valley is showing with dozens of people asking Channel 3 how they can help the storm victims. We are working to gather information for each of the agencies working on disaster relief in our area. If you represent one of these organizations, contact the WRCB newsroom at news@wrcbtv.com to let us know what you are doing to help. WRCB's partners at the Times Free Press has established a Neediest Cases Fund: Southern Storms. It channels contributions to local Red Cross chapters for area tornado relief efforts. Your gift is tax deductible as permitted by law. Donate online If you have had no disaster training, the best way to give is financially.
Text the word "GIVE" to 80888 to make a monetary donation to the Salvation Army or "REDCROSS" to 90999 for the Red Cross.

Flood Recovery Network Established For Flood Survivors
New Network To Be One-Stop Resource For Flood Survivors
April 25, 2011
http://www.wsmv.com/fatalfloods/27656407/detail.html

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Victims of last May's flood now have a new resource to help them get back on their feet.

The Flood Recovery Network (FRN) is a new initiative of the United Methodist Church. The new network is an additional resource to ensure quality, customized, timely flood assistance for those Tennesseans who still need help in recovering from the May 2010 flood.

FRN's centralized hotline is designed to be a one-stop resource for flood survivors with ongoing, unmet needs. Callers requesting help will be able to speak directly to a Flood Recovery Network representative who will begin assessing the needs of the flood survivor.

The hotline number is 615-567-3232.
