About this facility

Mission: from website: The mission’s ministry focus is intentionally multi-cultural and inter-denominational reaching across the two people groups – those we are helping recover and the volunteers who act as Pathfinder's hands and feet. The major aspects of the mission are to: + Facilitate the rebuilding of the community
# Empowering the residents to help themselves
# Bringing resources from other churches
+ Promote spiritual restoration/encouragement
# Evangelistic Outreach/Sharing the Gospel
# Gathering events – Praise and Worship
# Teaching obedience / Discipleship / Bible Studies We are developing the scope of the mission incrementally. We are building partnerships with local and distant churches and para-church ministries. We are leveraging the network that we have built over the past five years to encourage volunteers to augment the work that the Lord has given us to do.
Service: Temporary

Notes

Pathfinder Mission is co-located with Bridges of Faith at Bridgestone about 30 miles north of Montgomery, AL. There are 22 cabins that sleep 10 people each. Each cabin has two toilets and two showers with hot water, heating and air conditioning.

Workers need to bring their own flashlight, sleeping bag / blankets, pillows, towels, and personal items. Registration Info (MORE INFO)

We have wireless broadband access to the internet in the main meeting hall. This capability will help you stay in touch with your friends and family.

Bridgestone offers a commercial kitchen for use by the volunteer teams. The closest grocery stores are about 6 miles from the camp.

We currently do not support RV's at the camp with electricity or a dumping station. If you are bringing an RV or camper you will need to notify us ahead of time so we can prepare a place for parking.
