About this facility

Mission
Persons experiencing difficulties in their personal,
family, employment, or community interactions will
have available to them the mental health resources
necessary to enable them to manage, cope with
and/or overcome disabling conditions.
While the long term vision is one in which the need
for such support is unnecessary, it is recognized
such care will, for the present, be needed for all
individuals/community.
Comprehensive mental health care is available for
consumers in Cherokee, Dekalb, and Etowah counties
in Alabama for consumers and their families through
our offices in Centre, Fort Payne, and Gadsden,
Alabama. Intake, assessment, crisis intervention,
outpatient, Day Treatment, Residential, nursing
home support, and psychiatric outpatient care are
resources available within the mentioned areas to
assist the consumer in achieving their highest level
of functioning possible. In addition, specialty
services are provided for children and substance
abusers.
