About this facility

Mission
The tornadoes and storms of April 27, 2011, struck communities all over northern and central Alabama, leaving destruction and death in their wake. Thousands of people have been displaced. While Alabama suffered the greatest devastation from these tornadoes, many other communities throughout the southeast were afflicted as well. And for those men, women and children whose lives were already filled with challenge due to disability, the impact of the storms is even greater. Although efforts to ascertain the extent of the damage are underway, we already know the extent of people's compassion and generosity. It's limitless. No limits. That's what is needed right now. No limits to generosity. No limits to support. No limits to making sure that people living with disabilities receive the help they need - as quickly as possible - to help them begin rebuilding their lives.
