Notes
Will you help fill a truck with essentials for hurricane evacuees? Feed The Children is uniquely able to take your company's donated goods directly to the people who need them most. Our unique network of warehouses, coupled with our fleet of 18-wheelers, makes it possible to connect donor companies to the intended recipients. Because the need is acute, and our trucks are on the road 24 hours a day during and after crises like Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, we are asking for full truckloads of relief supplies at this time. For more than 25 years, Feed The Children has been caring for America's poor and hungry children and their families. So in times of natural disaster we are already positioned, equipped, and trained to make every donated item count.
This is what we do 365 days a year, every year. Because we never forget donor intent or recipient need, we operate at exceptionally high efficiency and coordinate our efforts with Federal, state, and local governments as needed. Our national and international experience also earns us the trust of the Army and National Guard who play important roles in times of crisis.
If you would like to help, complete a brief online form and we will call you. On behalf of America's families, thank you.

How gifts in kind are used
Feed The Children receives product donations from many of America's largest packaged good companies for use in providing relief to underprivileged children and their families.
We pick up truckload donations from corporate warehouses and transport them to one of our regional distribution centers located in Ontario, CA; Nashville, TN; Oklahoma City, OK; Houston, TX; Elkhart, IN; and North Brunswick, NJ.
Typical commodities appropriate for donation are food and beverages, nutritional, personal care, household goods, medicine and medical supplies, new clothing, educational supplies, toys and construction materials.
Some of the donations are distributed in bulk. Others are processed into individual relief boxes weighing about 25 pounds. Each box typically contains canned and non-perishable food items or personal care and hygiene items, and a toy or book.
Feed The Children never charges fees to recipients at any step in the process.
