Pregnant women are encouraged to come in for some special care and TLC.
Free prenatal or postpartum checkups by Certified Professional Midwives
Free health checkup for anyone effected by the tornado by a physician or nurse-practitioner
Free maternity clothes, prenatal vitamins, etc.
Foot, back and body massages by Licensed Massage Therapists Date & time

Donations of maternity clothes, baby items, hygene products, etc. are gratefully accepted. Please drop off at one of these locations:
1. 1929 S Thelma, Springfield, Missouri (take Campbell south from Sunshine, west on Cherokee, north on Thelma),
2. 11552 E 1800 Road, Stockton, Missouri (take hwy 39 south 3 miles, west on 1800 Road, blue house on the right),

• Thank you to all the Certified Professional Midwives and Licensed Massage Therapists who donated and are donating their time to help the mothers of Joplin. Thanks to all the people who helped make this happen! Prenatal checkup includes: blood pressure, pulse, urine analysis, fundal height (to measure baby's growth), listening to the baby's heartbeat, checking for swelling, self-care education and discussion of concerns. Women requiring medical care will be referred to a physician.
