Families searching for temporary child care can contact Child Care Resource & Referral at 1-800-450-7801 to discuss care options in their community. Licensed child care providers who are able to take on additional emergency care children are encouraged to call ND CCR&R. Certain licensing rules are being suspended during flood emergency to allow licensed child care providers to expand their capacity to assist families in need of child care. ALL LICENSED PROVIDERS WHO ARE TAKING IN CHILDREN FOR EMERGENCY CARE MUST COMPLETE AND KEEP ON FILE STATE FORM 812. THIS FORM CAN BE DOWNLOADED AT: http://www.nd.gov/eforms/Doc/sfn00812.pdf All unlicensed helpers need to fill out the SFN 508 and providers need to send these to their licenser. http://www.nd.gov/eforms/Doc/sfn00508.pdf Licensed child care providers should contact Child Care Resource and Referral at 1-800-450-7801 for clarification on which capacity rules are being suspended temporarily and if they can accommodate additional children.
