from website: Vermont Catholic Charities, Inc. a Vermont licensed, fully accredited agency is a leading provider of assisted living services, counseling services, marriage enrichment, and prison ministries in the Diocese of Burlington. Vermont Catholic Charities, Inc. provides consulting services for youth, families and staff of Catholic Schools. The organization provides a spectrum of services to individuals and families through home-based services, pre-marriage evaluation and education, marriage counseling, marriage enrichment, as well as post-abortion counseling. Post-adoption services for search and reunion issues are also available to anyone adopting through our agency. Elder care homes throughout the state provide assisted living for many individuals. Counseling services are available to assist residents with the adjustment and transition process. Regardless of the service provided, all Catholic Charities programs empower our clients towards self-sufficiency. Services are available regardless of age, race, color or creed. The agency is financed by the Bishop’s Fund for Charities and Development, The United Way of Rutland County, and individual bequests, gifts and donations, and fees for services.
