Update from the VT Foodbank’s COO on the Foodbank's response to Irene -- The VT Foodbank picked up 6 pallets of water from W. Mass Food Bank & 10 pallets from NH Food Bank, both were sent to Brattleboro. Hannaford Supermarkets sent a direct shipment from NY state into Brattleboro today of water, ice, granola bars and power bars. We are also getting a full tractor trail load on Friday from Hormel of canned meals. VT Emergency Management has been notified that we are in need of more water.
