Giddings Chamber
We are now entering phase two of the local wildfire assistance which are relocation and cleanup.
These requests will be fully utilized (unlike some of the other past donations).
Some are immediate and some within the next week or so.

Please take them to the Smithville Donation Center. In Smithville, take Main Street. It deadends into the railroad park. Take a right and you will see a warehouse with much activity on the right.

Donations needed:
Needed immediately: buckets, brooms, mops, paper towels, flashlights, cleaning supplies, masks with filters
Soon: Tents, air mattresses, pots and pans, kitchen stuff, tweezers, extension cords, cat food and litter, fans, gloves, shovels, hoses and nozzles, kitchen spices, toilet paper, rags for cleaning, toiletries, can openers, wash rags, towels, pain meds, socks, peroxide, alcohol, men’s large shoes- new, farm feed, Pinesol, 409, hard hats, new pillowcases, ice chest

----
Accepting NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS (especially bedding such as blankets and pillows, toiletry and personal items, baby items).

Please come now to get what you need. We've got many items in stock. The items are for anyone who needs them (this is NOT only for Smithville residents). IN STOCK: clothing in all sizes, toiletries such as shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes, laundry detergent, baby items, diapers, towels, bedding and more.

If you need items but cannot pick them up, please call 979-968-1632 and they will be delivered to you by volunteers
