Description: The HHSC SNAP staff are currently providing assistance with replacement SNAP BUT NOT Disaster SNAP. They are open at their main location at 3809 Loop 150 E Bastrop, TX 78602.

Callers to 2-1-1 Option 2 for replacement benefits will be served over the phone. Callers will be warm transferred and their applications will be processes while they are on the phone. AS YOU CAN IMAGINE THE HHSC LINES ARE JAMMED. ENCOURAGE CALLERS TO BE PATIENT.
Callers with questions regarding replacement benefits should always be referred either to the local office or to Option 2 to request same because individual circumstances may or may not indicate replacement and eligibility wants to be sure that all requests are considered and logged.

New Bastrop Disaster Recovery Distribution Center
Monday, Sept. 19: the Bastrop Rundell Distribution Center is now closed. All wildfire relief distribution activities have transferred to a new warehouse. The Settlement Distribution Center, 150 Settlement Rd. Bastrop is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. People affected by recent wildfires in Bastrop County are encouraged to pick up materials they need at this new location. Smithville Distribution Center, 210 Main St., will continue donation and distribution hours of 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Description: The Salvation Army will open its Central Texas Wildfire Relief Center on Friday, September 16, in Austin.
The center will serve as the main distribution point for donated household items, toiletries, non-perishables and clothing to wildfire survivors.
The Salvation Army plans to distribute donated items to those individuals who have been directly affected by the wildfires in Central Texas. Those affected can visit the center and pick up what they need. People who have lost their homes are asked to bring proof of residence in order to qualify for assistance.
