Volunteers are still welcome! Please come to the tent area to find out how you can help. With close to 100 horses, we are especially in need of folks who are comfortable hand walking horses. Feeding times are 7am and 5pm. There are water buckets to fill throughout the day, stalls to clean, hay and feed to organize and many other activities. Thank you!

9/14/11:
New Wildfire Relief Volunteer Center with call center to open this week in Calvary Baptist Church, 3001 Loop 150 E, Bastrop, TX. Recently arrived FEMA / Americorps volunteers will be assisting Bastrop County residents in managing volunteer support for rescue, relief and rebuilding after Texas' largest wildfire. Volunteers are currently needed to assist in wildfire disaster relief throughout the Bastrop area. Individuals or groups interested in volunteering must sign-up in advance by calling the Bastrop Ministerial Alliance Volunteer Hotline Monday through Saturday between 9AM-7PM and Wednesdays from 9AM-5PM at 512-332-8977 or 332-8611 Volunteers may also registering online at bastroprelief.org. Those interested in volunteering on Sundays should coordinate ahead of time due to limited opportunities.
