and the ability to advocate for themselves
in the community, schools and the workplace. Our Mission To facilitate social change and justice through advocacy and
a provision of services to the poor and disenfranchised
in Bastrop County and surrounding rural areas. - Eligibility
- Must meet federal poverty guidelines and/or be a currently displaced Bastrop County fire victim; serves undocumented individuals

Description: Advocacty Outreach is Providing financial assistance up to $250 for deposits on utilities; also helps with outstanding utility bills (disconnect notice required).
Bastrop-county fire victims are currently a priority. Assists families with filling out paperwork for FEMA, Red Cross, and Social Security benefits.
Also functions as a homeless day shelter, with showering facilities and free use of phone/fax/copier/computer.
