Mission
Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy fills prescriptions, at no charge, for low-income persons residing or sheltering in Mobile, Baldwin and Escambia (Alabama) counties with no other means of obtaining their medicine. Focus is on maintenance medications for chronic conditions. The pharmacy purchases generics and solicits and receives donations of brand name pharmaceuticals. No controlled substances (narcotics) are stocked or dispensed. Those wishing to use the pharmacy must be certified by one of several partner agencies in Mobile, Baldwin or Escambia counties and must present current valid prescriptions, prescription containers from other pharmacies with valid prescription information or other evidence of current, valid prescriptions. It is advised to call the pharmacy at 251-432-4111 before visiting to help determine eligibility and find out which prescriptions the pharmacy can fill and which it cannot fill.
