Does Harvest have a discount for people with low incomes?

Yes, Harvest helps those in need. We offer discounts for the elderly, people with disabilities and those with low incomes (those who are on food stamps). In 2011, these discounts provided over $29,000 in assistance. Additionally, members and customers donated over $2,700 to the Greater Boston Food Bank and Food for Free over the 2009 holiday season – and many pounds of non-perishable foods are donated at both locations.
When surveyed several years ago, Harvest members overwhelmingly asked that we incorporate discounts for low-income folks; this program is a result of that request.
